Account Manager Italy

About the position

Due to our growth and focus on expanding our export business, we are looking for additional staff in various regions.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for expanding Winsol's customer base in Italy and manage a portfolio of existing B2B customers.
Your customers are pergola dealers, general contractors, architects, gardeners and landscapers, carpenters, and installers.

In this role, you will report to the Export Sales Director.

About the role

Your tasks in this role include:

·        After intensive training, you'll get to know the company, its products and the market.
·        You'll manage a good portfolio of customers, which you'll monitor closely.
·        You’ll expand the customer portfolio in Italy via active prospecting.
·        You’ll negotiate tailor-made solutions for your customers, in consultation with our technical experts and the back office.
·        You follow up on developments and keep your knowledge up to date.
·        You will manage customer expectations on a daily basis and ensure rigorous follow-up.
·        You will report regularly to management and other stakeholders within the Winsol Group on the progress of sales initiatives, targets achieved, challenges, market information (pricing, products, delivery schedules,…),…

About you

You fit perfectly in this role because you:

·        Preferably have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
·        Have at least 5 years' experience in sales and are very customer-oriented.
·        With your innate dynamism and communication skills, you get great satisfaction from building and developing a large network.
·        Enthusiasm and persuasiveness come naturally to you.
·        You are driven by achieving ambitious goals and building lasting relationships.
·        You are organized, good at following up with clients and enjoy working autonomously. In return, we will place a great deal of trust in you.
·        You should preferably live in a central location so that you can easily serve customers in your region.
·        You are willing to travel regularly to clients and to headquarters (Belgium) for consultations.
·        Are fluent in Italian, English and German.
