Technical Service Engineer

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to ensure that customer satisfaction at Winsol remains high. You will do this by assisting European customers with technical knowledge and maintaining accurate documentation.

You will be part of the Technical Support team in Aalter and will report to the Plant Manager.

About the role

More specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:

• You will provide telephone support to customers by answering their technical questions and resolving any issues.
• You will work with the various departments to resolve customer queries. In doing so, you will ensure efficient collaboration and good documentation.
• You will provide technical training for internal staff and our B2B customers.
• When technical assistance by telephone proves insufficient, you will visit the site to examine the problem more closely and resolve it.
• You will handle the administrative processing of claims.

About you

You are the perfect fit for this role because you:

• You have initial experience as an installer.
• You can interpret DWG and technical data sheets.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
• You are analytical and have a natural aptitude for tackling and solving problems.
• You are customer-focused and deliver the highest quality.
• You work independently.
• You have a category B driving license.
• You are willing to spend 2-3 days abroad (within Europe) from time to time.
• 70% of the job is office-based, 30% is at the customer's premises.
