Solar-powered roller shutters

SolarBox and SolarFuse roller shutters feature two discreetly integrated solar panels that power the motor. This means there is no need for wires and outlets, or any construction work or channelling to install these roller shutters. What’s more, these shutters are installed on the exterior of your home, meaning that we can even install them while you are not at home.

Thanks to the solar panels, you get to enjoy the benefits of fully operational roller shutters that run on free solar energy all year round. And the powerful 4 Ah battery guarantees your roller shutters will be operational, even when there is little to no sunlight. 

If you opt for these energy-efficient roller shutters, there are also several options for the finish.

• Standard symmetrical: the solar panels are incorporated to the left and right of the casing.

• Standard asymmetrical: the solar panels are incorporated to the left or right of the casing.

• Black Belt: the bottom edge of the profile matches the color of the solar panels, creating a black trim that makes the solar panels barely noticeable.

• Color: the solar panels are subtly printed to match the color of the roller shutter casing.

These solar-powered roller shutters are excellent solutions, but not just for home renovations. They can also be nicely integrated into new construction. For example, the roller shutter casing can be completely color-matched and style-matched with the rest of the exterior joinery on the home.

Our straight casing is available in five sizes: 137, 150, 165, 180 and 205 mm.

Our XS^MAX technology is an interesting option if you have tall windows in your home. Thanks to a different motor and pulley, these shutters have an impressive additional 40 cm of roll-up height compared to other casing models.
