Larger surface areas within reach with award-winning Winsol sun protection

The sun protection market is always evolving. And so do we. Winsol is pleased to present its latest developments available from October. SolarFix solar-powered screens with a larger cassette and more powerful motor and SolarBox solar-powered roller shutters with the same more powerful 20 Newton motor. Winsol is filling a gap in the market with these updates, as the demand for high-performance sun protection for large window areas is booming.
Solar screens up to 15 m²: unique on the market
Last year, Winsol launched the SolarFix range: aesthetic solar front-mounted screens with as many as 2 integrated solar panels and a powerful 4 Ah long-life battery (instead of 2.2 Ah).
Starting in October, we will go one step further and now also offer solar-powered screens for large window surfaces up to 15 m². The only difference? A larger cassette with a different roll-up shaft and a high-performance 20 Newton motor instead of the current 10 Newton motor.
This makes Winsol unique in the market and the only supplier with solar-powered screens for large window surfaces. The 4 Ah battery is powerful enough to run the screens all year round. The maximum dimensions of the SolarFix 125 RE vary between 5 m x 3 m and 3 m x 5 m.
Popular window sizes within reach for SolarBox roller shutters
We are happy to extend this line to our range of solar-powered roller shutters with the same award-winning technology. From mid-October, we will be able to offer SolarBox roller shutters with higher-performance 20 Newton motors. This allows us to easily achieve dimensions up to 6.6 m² (2.5 m x 2.5 m / 3.2 m x 2 m / 2 m x 2.8 m).
A solar revolution in the sun protection market
In addition to the ultimate renovation solution - these screens and roller shutters are perfect for installation on existing windows due to the absence of electrical cables - Winsol is now also positioning itself as a unique sun protection player in the market for larger window surfaces. And that in the area of screens as well as roller shutters.
Both solutions remain available with a straight cassette and the same design finishes as the rest of the SolarFix and SolarBox ranges. The customer chooses to install the solar panels symmetrically or asymmetrically, with a stylish black band between both solar panels (Black Belt) or printed solar panels in the same color as the cassette (Colour).
